About Us
Our Journey
Julie and Julie’s collaboration began a decade ago, rooted in their mutual passion for art and community engagement at the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia). At that time, Julie B. worked in school group coordination within the museum's guide program, while Julie H. led tours showcasing the museum's expansive global collection. Their connection deepened when Julie B. led the new Vitality Arts Program, an art-making initiative specially designed for adults aged 55 and beyond.
Witnessing the profound positive impact of this program, Julie B. was inspired by the social connections and transformative experiences that emerged through creating art with high-quality materials and professional guidance. Meanwhile, Julie H., with her extensive background in teaching and tour guiding, was eager to expand her knowledge of the art forms she passionately discussed with visitors each day.
Our Vision
Together, they envisioned a creative space where individuals will come to create, learn, and explore. Their goal is to offer a variety of art-making workshops that not only teach new skills but also foster social connections and provide a fun, enriching environment for all participants.
