


Exploring Abstraction - Acrylic Painting
Break free from traditional representation and subject matter, dive into the world of abstract art. This workshop will expertly guide participants through a series of engaging exercises designed to encourage intuitive expression through line, pattern, shape and color.
We will teach you to zoom in on your surroundings to find abstraction and inspiration in unexpected places. Experiment with various acrylic painting techniques and textures to cultivate your own artistic flow. Create a dynamic composition through a variety of unique materials provided in class.
At Studio J-Bo each lesson builds on the previous one, helping you to advance your artistic skills. By the end of this workshop, you will have not only expanded your abstract art knowledge, but also created your own compelling abstract painting on canvas!
Each participant will receive a sketchbook, brushes and canvas to keep, all other materials are provided.
No experience necessary, anyone 55+ is welcome to register.
