Sawyer Wall, a graduate of the Atelier in Minneapolis, will walk you through the building blocks — breaking down what you see into simple forms like spheres, boxes, and cylinders. From there, you'll learn to read any scene in front of you as a set of shapes, and use light and shadow to make your drawings feel three-dimensional. No experience necessary — just curiosity and a willingness to look closely.
Our plan is to develop interest and create a progression of drawing workshops. This is the first workshop in an ongoing drawing series,— so consider this your starting point.
