Let’s continue learning about Sashiko needlework with artist and educator Akiko Ostlund. This class is perfect for participants of Akiko’s previous Sashiko class who want to keep stitching. In this 3-week workshop, you will learn to make and embellish Furoshiki, which are traditional Japanese wrapping cloths, using some Sashiko patterns. We will also learn different ways to use Furoshiki.
All materials provided. This workshop is designed for people who have some prior experience with Sashiko but all are welcome.
