Pastel Painting
Join us for a hands-on, five-session workshop to explore pastel painting. Suitable for beginners or those wanting to enhance their skills, this workshop covers essential techniques like making expressive lines, creating dynamic compositions, blending, and layering.
Bring your own landscape reference photo or work from a photo supplied by the teacher. In each class, the teacher will demonstrate different pastel techniques, from mark making and preparatory drawing to final touches and fixative use.
Using principles of design and color, students will decide on a composition and complete their own unique pastel paintings.
When: Thursdays, May 15 - June 12 (five consecutive weeks)
