Each workshop will feature demonstrations by our experienced teaching artist, showcasing a diverse range of soft pastel techniques. From the initial energetic mark-making and preparatory drawing that lays the foundation for your artwork, to the intricate final touches that bring your vision to life.
You are welcome to bring your own landscape reference photo, or choose from a selection of images provided by Studio J-Bo. Guided by the fundamental principles of design and color theory, you will confidently develop your own unique composition to create an original pastel painting that reflects your individual artistic voice.
Each participant will receive a sketchbook and set of soft pastels to keep, all other materials provided.
No experience necessary, anyone 55+ is welcome to register.
