Explore some of the most compelling women artists of our time, then make your own work in response in a two session workshop led by artist and educator Ilene Krug Mojsilov.
In our first session, we’ll tour the Walker Art Center’s permanent collection, focusing on artists and the themes they explore: family, the city, landscape, and abstraction. You’ll see how different artists approach the same big ideas in completely different ways.
Wednesday, December 2, 10:30 am to noon
Meet in the Walker lobby. Lunch afterward is optional if you’d like to keep the conversation going. Please provide your own transportation. The Walker fee is $16, or free if you have a Walker membership.
Wednesday, December, 9, 1:00 - 4:00
In our second session, we’ll head back to the studio and respond to the artists who stood out to you, using drawing, clay, and paint. No experience needed, just curiosity.
All materials provided, no experience necessary.
If cost is a barrier, please contact us.
